I found this little beastie while cutting trees at work. The was a whole nest of the critters, who had the bad luck to choose a dead tree next to a road to overwinter.

Not On My Finger !!!

P.S. A Lightning Strike took my phoneline out Sunday, and it was replaced this morning. I was so excited I forgot to Photograph the event !!!

Shining Through

The rain yesterday destroyed our work, forcing a do-over. Without that, I wouldn't have caught this shot.

Incoming Storm

I took this shot while looking for one of my co-workers as the Thunderstorm approached just before 5pm. It had lots of lightning, but not until just before it hit. I must have wasted 50 shots trying to get it, and did get one on video mode toward the end of a 2 minute shot. Once I figure out how to edit it down to a 10 or 15 second movie clip, I'll post it here.
