Shelf Cloud
When this cloud went overhead, it reminded me of those ships from the V-Miniseries, which is in production for a 2008 miniseries as well!

Construction in Maggie Valley
I wonder what idiot at the North Carolina Department of Transportation decided to schedule construction for the summer? Especially with Ghost Town in the Sky re-opening.

Ghost Town Photos Part I
Here are some photos of my trip to Ghost Town in the Sky...

The Entertainment while we waited for tickets, and then waited for the bus.

The Outskirts of town.

Main Street before the crowd got there.
That all for now, I think I'm overheating my modem! I will have more later today.

Sliding Off
This house was about to slide off the mountain last year, and what did they do?
They put a bunch of rocks on the side of the hill, truckload after truckload.
Now, if the house slids off in the summer, the occupants will be eaten by snakes.

A Sign of Spring
I should know the name of this flower, but it escapes me for now.
Photo taken two weeks ago in Haywood County.
I have an incredible number of photos awaiting upload, but my internet connection currently does not like uploading files.
